About the WNY Children's Rehab Therapy
Our Pediatric Services division is know as Children's Rehab Services of WNY as the name reflects the specialized training that each of our pediatric therapist's has. Our main clinic is located at our Williamsville location.
It takes a special kind of caring to work with children, and our pediatric specialists have just that. We have a team of speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, audiologists, special educators, psychologists and pediatric service coordinators. Each of these care givers are trained to work closely with children, families, physicians and educational programs. We are approved for Early Intervention and Pre-School services in the Buffalo, Lockport, Niagara Falls, Hamburg, Williamsville, West Seneca, Clarence, Cheektowaga, Amherst, and Lancaster, NY areas.
Through our company, Children’s Rehab Services of WNY, we provide a the following services for children starting from birth.
Audiology and Hearing Aids For Children
We provide Audiologists that specialize in pediatric evaluations and hearing aid fittings. This is a specialty area and our audiologists are specially trained to provide your child the skilled services designed to meet the needs of children. These services may include:
- Audiological Assessment
- Central Auditory Processing Evaluations
- Cochlear Implant Evaluations & Programming
- Hearing Aid Fittings
Speech & Language Pathology for Children
Our Pediatric Speech and Language Therapists work with your child to help your child learn language and speech skills that are important for communication in their everyday life. Our therapists will also work on feeding and swallowing problems that your child may be experiencing. Our work may include:
- Ability to speak clearly
- Ability to develop expressive and receptive language skills
- Ability to play
- Ability to be social and interact with others

Special Education for Children
The purpose of special education is to “level the playing field” by providing specialized services to students with disabilities so that they can succeed academically. Our focus includes:

Occupational Therapy for Children
Our pediatric Occupational Therapists work with your child to help your child learn functional skills that are important in their everyday life. Our focus may include:

- Increasing independence with activities of daily living
- Promoting developmental progression
Physical Therapy for Children
Our pediatric Physical Therapists work with you and your child toward achievement of successful movement skills while creating a fun experience. Our therapists treat musculoskeletal problems and improve the mobility and developmental progression of children with a wide variety of diagnoses. Our focus may include:
- Improving movement and developmental progression
