I have only had EXCELLENT treatment with Diversified Hearing!! Any problem I have had with my hearing aids and/or accessories have been quickly solved. Recently my Thrive TV device’s icon disappeared from my cell phone. This had happened once before and we called the Thrive hotline and it was fixed immediately. This time, we called Thrive and their tech tried to fix it and after over half an hour told us that we should call our audiologist. HUH??? A Thrive tech could NOT fix a Thrive issue???!!! We called Diversified Hearing and talked to Carrie……she politely and promptly fixed this issue!! Diversified Hearing has the BEST audiologists! From my mother’s Alzheimer’s (and subsequent loss of of 2 chargers an 3-5 sets of hearing aids, and husband’s Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s dementia, to the initial state of my own journey with hearing loss and very intrusive tinnitus. The staff have all been wonderful and accommodating. They take the time they need to make sure we get the assessments and treatment that would best suit our needs! The hearing aids, a phone for me, has helped me beyond measure with the tinnitus that was driving me crazy. They are always willing to answer questions. They office is well managed and all the staff go way above the extra measure and are kind. I cannot recommend Diversified services enough. I have even been there for balance. These 2 individuals worked with me to obtain the proper payment and get her replacement hearing aid ordered. Their communication was excellent. Hello : I was very uneasy with the whole process of obtaining hearing aides from the cost, to the ease of using them. I met with Dr Cartwright and he very patiently sat with me and went over everything. The next visit ( the trying on phase ) I brought my son with me for a second pair of eyes and ears ( no pun intended ) once again Dr Cartwright was wonderful. The third visit I was over the moon happy and expressed my sincere gratitude to Dr Cartwright. I know it is expensive, I’m a senior on limited income too, but please don’t wait like I did. I love my hearing aides! Diversified has tested me regularly to keep tabs on my hearing problems. Two years ago, we determined that it was time. It has changed my life for the better. I can’t say that I wished that I got them sooner because before that, I would not have noticed much difference. Now I wear them all the time I am awake. Brian showed me how to connect them to my phone and how to troubleshoot when I was having problems. Theater, lecture hall and live music are better than I even remembered them. They perform better than any ear buds so that I get translations and directions without looking at my phone and no one else can hear it. People in Lucca, Italy think I really know my way around. Phone calls are no longer a struggle. They are also compatible with my noise canceling earphones. I wear them comfortably under the earphone cups. If you are questioning whether you need hearing aides, come in and be tested.

Update: I have to admit, they followed up on this, reached out to me and cancelled the open invoice. Carrie was very pleasant and understanding, and went out of her way to make sure everything was dealt with. Nice to know there’s still good customer service out there. ————————— They charged $1800 for hearing aids for my mother that she never received. She passed away one month later and the last month of her life we had to yell at her, and she still couldn’t hear half of what we said. Now I’m stuck paying an exorbitant price for a product that we could have found for a fraction of the price, and that was never delivered.

In October 2024 I caught a virus which caused me to lose most of my hearing. It took 2 months to get into an ENT doctor. My hearing test was done by an audiologist Lisa McMorrow from Diversified. It was determined I had sensorineural hearing Loss and my hearing would not be returning. I was devastated. Lisa assured me that hearing aids would work for me and hugged me. At that moment I needed that. She then assisted with getting me to the next person Carrie Cline from Diversified. Carrie examined me and we talked about hearing aids. Carrie is patient and just all around great. Two weeks later my hearing aids were in and I am so happy to say I can hear again. It has been about a month and today I return for a follow up appt. Thank You Lisa and Carrie!!! True professionals. You ladies are doing what you are meant to do.

2 days before my 58th birthday I was fitted for hearing aids by Carrie Cline, my audiologist. She was really helpful in explaining how to use and care for my hearing aids as well as what to expect while adjusting to them (and them adjusting to me!). In the weeks and months that have followed, I have been blown away by just how much I had been missing in my hearing (birds chirping outside this spring, for one). Now, I can hear what people are saying – it turns out that they were not just mumbling. I was also shocked by just how loud I needed the TV to be to hear what was being said. To say that this has been a relief to my wife would be a vast understatement. The great thing about hearing aids today is that you don’t start out at full volume. You start well below that and the hearing aids move up to your target settings as you wear them over two or more weeks. Also, they are tuned to ‘fill in’ the parts that are missing from your unaided hearing. For me, that was the higher pitches, possibly damaged from years of very loud punk and hardcore shows in small spaces with no hearing protection. One benefit of wearing these hearing aids is a significant reduction in the ringing in my ears that I attribute to that. If you are having to blast the TV to enjoy watching it or are experiencing the frustration of watching lips move but not hearing what is being said, I strongly urge you to go get your hearing checked by Diversified and be open to getting hearing aids.

My friend had a problem with her hearing aid. Our audiologist had gone out of business and did not notify us. She only has the one hearing aid and cannot hear out of the other ear. We did not have an appointment but they checked the hearing aid out and fixed it for her. I highly recommend them

He’s a UB alum and really knows his stuff, not to mention, he’s super personable, caring and even wears a bow tie and cool motorcycle boots! :-).
